Purpose: 
African Women's Alliance (AWA) is an organization that strives to bring women of the African Diaspora on the New Paltz campus together. AWA discusses issues, current events and holds festivities that affects and celebrates the history and culture of the women of the African Diaspora. Our purpose is to enlighten, support and educate the women on the New Paltz campus.
