Purpose: 
The SUNY New Paltz Anthropology Club takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the world we live in. All aspects of anthropology- cultural, biological, linguistics, and archaeology- are blended with philosophical, sociological, and scientific concepts in order to understand each individual's role within society and as a member of the human race. Through group meetings, lectures, programs, conference visits, and educational trips, SUNY New Paltz Anthropology Club attempts to emphasize the stake we all have in nurturing global solidarity.
