Purpose: 
African Women's Alliance (AWA) is an organization that strives to infrom the New Paltz campus on political, cultural, social and educational issues/celebrations in regards to the women of the African diaspora. AWA also holds festivities that affects and celebrates the history and culture of the women of the African Diaspora. Our purpose is to enlighten, support and educate the women on the New Paltz campus.
