Description: 
AWARENESS is a not for profit organization to spread drug and alcohol awareness.
Purpose: 
AWARENESS was created to help kids who have problems with drugs and alcohol. Instead of going to jail or put on probation, judges use this program to help rehabilitate kids in a different way. Instead of forcing kids to stop doing drugs against their will, this program teaches kids why it is dangerous and shows them real life examples of events that have occurred. This club will meet once a week and hold events to support AWARENESS. Having the club a part of SUNY New Paltz will help promote it and help it grow.
