BSU promotes intellectual, political, cultural, and social growth amongst all New Paltz
Purpose: 
The purpose of the Black Student Union of New Paltz University is to foster a sense of community among all students of the African Diaspora at New Paltz. Our mission is to stimulate the intellectual, political, cultural, and social growth of all New Paltz students. In addition, the Black Student Union serves as a resource to all other groups on campus serving students of the African Diaspora.
