Description:
A martial art, and self-defense technique, that focuses on grappling
Purpose:
The purpose of this club is to allow students to train Brazilian jiu-jitsu and create a place to learn and practice this art. Membership for jiu-jitsu schools in the Hudson Valley area can be as much as $200 a month, and this club can offer training for free. There is no need for any prior experience to start. Beginner and advanced grapplers are welcome. The club studies recreational grappling (ground confrontation) and self-defense techniques.
