Purpose: 
The Purpose of the Caribbean Student Organization (CSO) is to promote and build a bond with native and non native West Indians on the SUNY New Paltz campus. To unite and construct friendship amongst students that will last throughout their college years. Through programs on and off campus such as the Caribbean Pride Week we intend on building student awareness and better understanding of Caribbean life. We will also incorporate educational programs and discussions with the student body. Stimulate their minds with life scenarios and experiences. Introduce others to different ethnicities within the Caribbean through food, music ,political issues, poverty, crimes etc. With all these programs we would bring together our brothers and sisters by sharing One Love and One Heart because divided we are conquered.
