Description: 
CCM exists to encourage Catholic student to love God and others through Sacrament and service
Purpose: 
The Catholic Campus Ministry at SUNY New Paltz is an outreach of the Archdiocese of New York and supported locally by St. Joseph’s Parish. CCM seeks to foster and encourage the Catholic faith through: retreats, parish involvement, weekly meetings for prayer, praise and faith discussions, community service, “fun events”. We also invite members of the faculty as well as other guest speakers to our weekly meetings. A yearlong, Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation class is also offered. Our main event each year is the annual Mission Trip to the central mountain region of the Dominican Republic. There we build chapels and structural repair work on houses.
