Description: 
An organization in which students can learn, practice, and play chess.
Purpose: 
Our purpose is to encourage students to play chess and practice with other players. New players are welcomed and will be happily instructed by other students. There will also be scheduled tournaments, for experienced players, and all students will be encouraged to become official members of the United States Chess Federation, in order to participate in local official tournaments.
