Description: 
Culture Shock is a Hip Hop dance troupe on the SUNY New Paltz campus
Purpose: 
Culture Shock is a competitive dance troupe dedicated to exploring dance through the incorporation of varying styles including hip hop, reggae, breakdancing, voguing, lyrical, Irish etc. We really are open to anything and love to explore new styles! We are responsible for the only dance competition that takes place on the SUNY New Paltz campus, Dance Evolution; and perform for various student association programs throughout the year. We also compete in dance competitions at other universities as well as competitions held in New York City. While all of our members are students first we all know that WE'D RATHER BE DANCING.
