Defenders of Underwater Creatures and Kritters

I want to create a club that will help clean-up the ponds for the aquatic animals that take refuge within them. Not only from lack of care by students, but as construction continues throughout the year, there will be extra materials that will find themselves in these ponds. I've noticed plastic bags and other garbage in the ponds and I want to make a club that will specifically focus on the ponds of SUNY New Paltz and on the job to clean them and keep them clean. This club can meet every week on a certain day (I can try and see how peoples schedules work, as I know a few people who would join already) and we will go to the ponds, especially to the ones by hasbrouck, and clean-up any garbage in and around the ponds, with as little disturbance as possible to the life within them. During the winter months, club meeting will be spaced out more, depending if the ponds ice over or not and the weather outside.
