Description: 
EvoS club is designed to generate interest in all things evolution with students in all disciplines
Purpose: 
The Evolutionary Studies Club lets students and faculty partake in events that explore all perspectives of evolution. Lectures, discussions, and trips are among the activities which will be hosted. All are encouraged to join and provide new and exciting views on evolutionary studies, or to simply take in all that this club has to offer. We hope that this club, in partnership with the EvoS Program, will ultimately create an opportunity for faculty and students at New Paltz to (a) develop a deep understanding of evolutionary ideas, (b) conduct cross-disciplinary research using evolution as a synthesizing paradigm, and (c) contribute to novel ideas across disciplines guided by evolutionary reasoning.
