Description: 
Habitat For Humaity Club
Purpose: 
So I'd like to start a Habitat for Humanity Club for SUNY New Paltz. I recently went for the first time this past Saturday to a build in Newburgh. There are 3 builds currently going on in Newburgh and I chose based on the one with the most open slots. At break time that runs from 10-10:30 volunteers from the 3 sites meet at a church for coffee, juice and snacks. I was happy to see so many volunteers. I saw this one group of 15 or so college aged people in the back. They went around the room and asked people to introduce themselves or their group; I was proud to get up and say that I attend SUNY New Paltz. They then got to the largest group and a member got up and said we're from Marist and are here because of the Marist Habitat for Humanity Club… and I thought why doesn't SUNY New Paltz have one? So I'm interested in making this an official club.
