Description:
A club dedicated to watching and discussing films that take place during history!
Purpose:
Like history? Like historical films? Hell, do you just like movies? The Historical Film Society is a club dedicated to watching and discussing historical films ranging from as late as WWII to as early as - well, the beginning of the world! Movies watched and discussed in the past include The Young Victoria, The King's Speech, Pirates of the Caribbean, 300. Discussions have ranged from "wow, those guys are hot" to "damn, they have sex a lot - is that historically accurate?" to discussions on the cinematography and costumes. And besides, there's free popcorn.
