Description: 
We play poker to have fun with friends and meet new people! We don't play for money.
Purpose: 
Many people enjoy playing poker but find it hard to find a group of people to play with. This poker club allows beginners and experienced players to have fun playing poker together. We play to have fun and meet new people. While playing for fun may not be as exciting as gambling, people will love the game regardless. We welcome people to come and learn how to play poker. Sitting around a table playing cards has been a great social event for many generations and will continue to be a fun way to interact with friends. We play tournament style poker. We were formally known as the New Paltz Poker Club.
