Description:
Educates and works to stop the use of child soldiers in Uganda + The Congo
Purpose:
The Invisible Children Club at SUNY New Paltz’s goal is to build awareness about the issues concerning the LRA in Northern Uganda and the Congo by organizing events & fundraisers on campus and in the community. We are "fighting" to stop the war and bring peace. We hope to inspire others to help us take action so that we can work together to change history. The club intends to achieve their goal by having one major event each semester, the roadies visit.
