Description: 
For students who wish to learn and converse in Japanese
Purpose: 
The purpose of this organization is to shape an informal, unique atmosphere among SUNY New Paltz students who wish to learn and converse in Japanese. With support from the Foreign Languages Department and a peer-on-peer plan of study, we hope to make a group that is productive for the beginner as well as the more advanced Japanese speaker. Our group will be open to all students, including those who have not had a formal, educational course in the Japanese language. In short, we hope that providing a regular opportunity for students to study and practice Japanese in a group will be the best way for them to master the language. Word Count: 117
