Description:
Organization with the principles of helping others by any means neccessary.
Purpose:
The mission of M.I.Q [Mind In Question], a student organization, is to assist people from all walks of life, primarily those deprived of resources that certain environments don’t offer. In particular, M.I.Q serves under-privileged and indigent people living in destitute environments, by conducting fund raisers and collections; high school students from low class neighborhoods who need assistance and direction, and other classes of society in which the boundaries of our organization allow us to aid. The vision of M.I.Q is to question ourselves for our purpose on Earth and to give back to the world. M.I.Q will hold programs and functions to educate SUNY New Paltz on helping one another and most importantly the world. We will unite the New Paltz community and facilitate actions that can advance society in a positive direction such as organizing frivolous affairs and recreational events.
