NSSLHA is a group for Communication Disorders majors
Purpose: 
The National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is the only official national student association recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). NSSLHA is an association for students managed by students. The purpose of NSSLHA is to increase networking options and to promote a professional attitude among students in the Communication Disorders Major. The New Paltz Chapter also participates in community service activities as well as fund-raising events to support programs that the Chapter organizes. The group organizes numerous events in order to enhance academic knowledge, and to stay current on the advancements in the field.
