Description: 
A forum for both poli sci/IR majors and minors as well as students interested in politics.
Purpose: 
The PoliSci/IR club is an outlet for students of the department and for people interested in politics to come and discuss current events in American and International politics as well as hear from Professors who are specialists in certain fields of political science. We intend to take a trip to DC in the spring in which we will me with our local Congresspersons and hear from Washington insiders. We will also have a small lecture series consisting of Professors from New Paltz and other schools as well as authors, experts and others with political knowledge. Most events will be through the department as well as the club
