Raise awareness in the New Paltz community about Latino culture.
Purpose: 
Quisqueya: Dominican Students Association was brought to New Paltz with the intention of exposing New Paltz to Latino culture. We sponsor and participate in informative as well as social events that aid in addressing issues concerning all Latinos. Quisqueya also aims to develop academic and personal support services among students and professionals in efforts to recruit and retain Latino students at New Paltz.
