Description:
Deepen and expand our knowledge of social issues through discussion and action.
Purpose:
This is a space for students to discuss social issues that are occurring in the world and especially in the United States and in our own "backyards."Gaining knowledge of social movements, politics/thoughts and theories. Speaking on the all -isms (i.e. racism, sexism, ageism, classism etc.). Learning through discussions, common or uncommon experiences, documentaries etc. Partaking in action against unjust causes that may not only affect us individually, but as a whole.
