Educates and works to stop the use of children soldiers in Uganda + human trafficking
Purpose: 
Invisible Children Club won the Best New Club of the year award from the SAUCE office, raised money by having movie screenings and hosting a visit from the Roadies and a book drive and attending The Rescue in New York City. Invisible Children club works to educate the population about the terrible situation of child soldiers in Uganda so that we can come together and end Africa’s longest running war. • Invisible Children Club o Meetings every Thursday SUB 408 at 7pm, 10 members o Movie Showing in November 08 o Movie Showing April 26 LC 104 @ 8pm o Roadies Visit and Lecture April 31 LC 104 @ 8pm o The Rescue trip to NYC to participate in a national demonstration to speak out against child soldiers o Dorm Storms where we collected over $150.00 to donate to Invisible Children o Book Drive: Collection boxes were placed all over campus and people donated their textbooks, books, cds and dvds. We raised $300.00 though Better World Books
