Description: 
Raising money for the people of one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere
Purpose: 
New Paltz for Nicaragua is a humanitarian aid group dedicated to helping better the lives of the Nicaraguan people. This organization was influenced by an existing Northport High School organization called Students for 60,000. As we continue this legacy, we hope that this fairly new club on the SUNY New Paltz campus will flourish with people who have the courage to join our cause and help the people of a country in need.
