Description: 
Relay from Woodstock, NY to New York, NY covering 178 miles. Each team consists of 12 members.
Purpose: 
Ragnar Relay is a relay from Woodstock to NYC. Each person runs 3 separate times, covering 15-17 miles. It is over a period of 24 hours. Teams can be single sex or co-ed. The entry fee goes to The Marathon Project which is an after-school training program that pairs adult mentors with at-risk youth to reduce risk factors such as childhood obesity, school drop-out and substance abuse. We feel it would be a unique and rewarding experience for all involved. We also hope to raise more money for charity besides just the entry fee.
