Educates and encourages the NP community to recycle/ live sustainability
Purpose: 
The main purpose of Recycling Club is to educate the New Paltz community about how to properly recycle while instilling the value of recycling and participating in preventing global climate change. By putting on different events like our Consumption Series we aim to educate the community through strong visual representation and close interactions. At the meetings we have lectures to learn more about environmental studies and encourage making a difference in our environment. Recycling Club had two major programs last semester, RecyceMania and Reuse to Reduce, we went to the Power Shift conference in Washington DC and put on Earth Week 2009. Also, Recycling Club is run by the campus recycling coordinator. Events and information can also be found on New Paltz Green Thinking Blog.
