Description: 
A social club that discuses, views, and engages in activities that are related to Anime.
Purpose: 
The New Paltz Anime Club is dedicated to providing an environment for the student body to come together over a common interest in Japanese visual culture. We exist to enrich the social atmosphere of the campus by providing entertainment and opportunities for social interaction. We invite all students, on or off campus to join us. As a club, we have an interest in understanding the social context and messages that are represented in Anime and Manga. We hold events such as The Cosplay Cafe, Japanese Lessons, and Karaoke Night. We also support our members that have aspirations of careers in art, language and voice acting. We also routinely go to conventions for professional networking opportunities.
