Description: 
A club that creates music with their hands and feet.
Purpose: 
The purpose of SHADES Step Team is to perform on SUNY New Paltz campus as a form of entertainment. Also SHADES Step Team performs in an array of step competitions within the Northeast region. Lastly, SHADES Step Team created their first annual "Beyond the Beat Step Competition" in Fall 2011 during the Blue and Orange homecoming weekend. SHADES is open to both men and women.
