SUNY New Paltz Turkish Student Association

This is a club founded by Turkish students who attend SUNY New Paltz either through SUNY-YOK dual diploma program or for varying graduate studies. The primary goal of this group is to gather a periodically alternating body of Turkish students, and rustle up the solidarity among them. Additionally, the group is eager to lay out the characteristics of Turkish Culture to non-Turks through various activities during its regular meetings, or in on or off-campus events. Events that represent American and Turkish tradition constitute the more popular activities that this club encourages its members to participate in. As such, concerts, festivals, art shows, local events, Halloween celebration, national and religious holidays, cross-cultural engagements are of a large interest to the members of our club.
