New Paltz Solar Car Racing Team is being formed

IEEE along with the Society of Woman Engineers (SWE) and Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is forming a SOLAR CAR RACING TEAM.

Our plan is to build and race in the national and international competitions. Besides engineers we need students from other majors such as Marketing, Accounting/finance, and Physics. Our hope is to bring national and international recognition to our school.

Election Results

Below is the results for the Spring 2008 elections.Senators with the top ten greatest number of votes have been awarded two terms on senate. Currently there is an undetermined number of single semester seats for senators placing lower than tenth. When we have determined a firm number of single semester seats will we notify everyone accordingly.
The Activity Fee also passed by an overwhelming majority and will remain mandatory.

Election results - Spring 2008

The Results are in on the Senate Election for Spring 2007. As per the constitutional amendment last year, the top 15 Canidates secure their seat for 2 semesters, while the reamining open seats are secured for 1 semester. Congratulations to the winners, you will be contacted by the Senate Chair, and thank you all for patience as we worked though issues. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at President@newpaltzsa.com until a replcement for the VP of governance is found.

IEEE will hold weekly meeting in the war room (REH 109) on Wednesdays at 8pm
